Meet Dr. Giraldo
A top-notch education and a passion for creating beautiful smiles.
I have seen the difference that having a healthy, beautiful smile can make. I have always enjoyed being able to give people that happy feeling, which is why I am grateful for all that I have learned in dental school and am thankful that I was blessed with the careful hand and artistic touch it takes to create a beautiful smile. Before becoming a dentist, I received the following degrees:
- DMD: 1995 graduate University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, Farmington, CT
- BS: 1989 graduate Biology, New York University, New York, NY
Continuing Education
By regularly participating in continuing education, I am able to stay current on the latest technology and dental treatments. My patients deserve the best, and continuing education allows me to provide my patients with more options and better results. I am a member of several professional associations that provide me with opportunities for continuing education, including the:
- American Dental Association
- Connecticut State Dental Association
- Norwalk Dental Association
- Spear Dental Education
- Spear Study Club Member
- Academy of General Dentistry, Pre-Fellow
Giving You The Personal Attention You Deserve
I see my patients every time they visit. I take time with them and listen to their thoughts and concerns so that I get a clear understanding of their needs and desires. I work as their partner, creating a treatment plan that will give them the smile of their dreams. That's the kind of care I expect for myself. And that's the level of care I want you, as my patient, to experience.
As a native of Bogota, Colombia, I am fluent in Spanish. I practiced in Stamford for almost 20 years and now work solely in the Norwalk, CT office which opened in 2010. I currently live in Easton, CT with my two wonderful children. I enjoy spending my free time with family and friends and providing pro bono dental work for the needy. Although my lifelong passion has always been travel and fast cars (I hope to one day be a Formula 1 superstar), my true goal is to open an orphanage in Colombia or the US. Philanthropy is very close to my heart.
